Sophia is proud of her results from last semester and so are we proud of Sophia and the exceptional education offered at CHSonline.

The environment is so much better for her from a mental health and education perspective (she enjoys the smaller focused classes and faster pace of learning) than in her previous main school on campus environment 🙌🏼, where although she did extremely well in the past - the struggles with sensory overload and executive functioning (creating intense anxiety) under time pressure in a large physical school took a massive toll on her mental health and stress levels, which are attributed to her ASD diagnosis (with high functioning and IQ/perfectionism/sensory overload/executive function challenges).

I have two sons currently enrolled at CHS. Both are working towards their iGCSEs in English Language and English Literature. If your child has a passion for reading and a natural flair for creative writing, I wholeheartedly recommend Mrs J Howard as an outstanding teacher in these subjects. Her passion for teaching English is truly inspiring. Her lessons are consistently engaging, supportive, imaginative, and carefully tailored to meet the needs of each student in the class.

The advantage of such small class sizes—typically six to eight students—allows Mrs Howard to provide incredibly detailed, focused, and insightful feedback on all key areas of English, including discussion, summarising, creative writing, and directed writing. Her teaching style has helped my two sons refine and develop their written skills with remarkable success.

My eldest, who was once overwhelmed by the thought of the upcoming iGCSEs, now feels far more confident and composed. Mrs Howard is undoubtedly a tremendous asset to CHS and will foster your child’s love for the written word.
