"Fantastic"
My experience on the Level 2 Art & Design course has been fantastic. It allowed me to explore a wide range of media and techniques that I might never have tried otherwise. The tutors were friendly and approachable, making it easy for me to ask any questions about the course content, which really helped with understanding everything. The live lessons were also a great benefit, as I could ask questions in the chat in real-time. I learned so much from this course and would definitely recommend it.

"really inspiring and helpful"
I've found this course really inspiring and helpful. My tutor kept in touch the whole way through with good, constructive feedback and I've learnt loads about different art styles and techniques. They encouraged me to find and develop my own style too and I would definitely recommend this course to anybody looking for an equivalent to GCSE art.

"a fantastic experience"
I had a fantastic experience with the OCAD Level 2 course. The teachers were always supportive and encouraging, and the course structure was excellent—especially the well-organized skills builder tasks. There were plenty of useful resources, and I received prompt feedback on assignments. Teachers were easily accessible through the chat function for help or to discuss creative ideas. Lessons were also highly flexible, as they could be attended live on Teams or accessed later online.
The course leads up to a Final Themed Project, where students can choose their own theme and create a unique final artwork. Additionally, there are competitions and online exhibitions, which really help students feel like part of a creative community.

"100% better"
When I started the course in 2020 before Teams it was on the old online system which was very chaotic and not user-friendly. Then they moved to Teams which was confusing at first but that was probably more of a Teams issue than the actual Art Course. However, as I have been in the course throughout this process I can say that the course is 100% better now than it used to be and it's easy to access.
Communication with tutors was mostly quick and they always responded to my questions.
When I asked for feedback the teachers listed out what I needed to do and what I could improve on in a helpful way.
The only problem I have is the user interface but I think that is more of a Teams thing and less of the art course itself

"I did enjoy the course"
When I first started this art course, I felt quite demotivated because I didn’t have much creative freedom during most of the skill-building phase. I understand that these skill builders are meant to establish a foundation for students, but the feedback I received from my tutor often left me feeling like I wasn’t doing well. This combination led to a negative mindset toward the course—I didn’t want to annotate or even draw.
One issue I encountered was with the tutors, as their feedback sometimes lacked clarity and felt inconsistent. Despite paying for a one-year international course, feedback was only provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Thankfully, my perspective changed later in the course when I was given more creative freedom, and I started to understand the purpose behind the tutors' feedback. As a result, I began to enjoy the course much more.
Overall, I did enjoy the course once I understood what was happening. However, I believe tutors should be available more often and provide consistent feedback throughout the one-year course.
