Review & Moderation Policy
How we handle reviews and moderation.
Verified-first reviews
Every review must be verified via email before it can appear publicly. We do not accept anonymous drive-by reviews. This protects businesses from fake or malicious content while giving customers a way to share genuine feedback.
Fair response window
After verification, businesses receive a 48-hour window to respond before the review is eligible for publication. This ensures businesses have a fair chance to reply. We do not suppress or hide reviews during this window—we simply delay publication.
Moderation
All reviews go through automated checks before publication.
These checks look for spam, abuse, and unusual activity to help keep reviews fair and reliable.
Most reviews are published quickly.
If a review includes serious allegations that could harm a business, we may ask for additional information before publishing it.
When the potential impact is high, we may ask for specifics such as an order reference or interaction details. Flagged reviews are held for manual review. We may reject reviews that are abusive, defamatory, or clearly fabricated. Genuine critical feedback is allowed; it may simply need more context when the stakes are high.
Disputes
Businesses may dispute reviews they believe are inaccurate or unfair. Disputes go through a transparent process. We never remove reviews solely because a business paid us. Resolution outcomes are based on policy, not billing status.
Publication
Only reviews with status PUBLISHED appear on public pages. Rejected, disputed, or under-review content is never shown publicly. We are transparent about our process.
